All on board our 5th Havel Seminar

– October 8, 2019 –

In September, we were delighted to have hosted our 5th Havel Seminar on modern microbiological and molecular biological food testing. The fully booked, two-day event, which took place at our headquarters on the beautiful peninsula of Hermannswerder in Potsdam, welcomed international guests from all corners of the world. Renowned speakers from academia and industry offered insightful presentations, which led to some riveting scientific discussions with like-minded peers. The following day, three parallel workshops took place, covering themes such as:

  • Detection of the presence of GMOs in food and feed samples
  • Foodborne pathogens
  • Veterinary samples
  • Automation solutions in the PCR lab for Salmonella and Listeria

During the workshops, the participants gained practical, hands-on experience while learning about our latest technologies and methods.

To cap it all off, everyone embarked on a large raft and set off down the Havel River, taking in the sites and scenic pleasures of our stunning surroundings on a beautiful late summer’s day.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation in our event. We hope you all enjoyed your time here on the island and we look forward to rafting up again with you at our 6th Havel Seminar. All on board in 2021!
