Lebensmittelpathogene

Ein Pathogen ist ein Synonym für Krankheitserreger. Lebensmittelpathogene stellen eine besondere Form von mikrobiellen Krankheitserregern dar, welche über die Nahrung aufgenommen und verbreitet werden.
Im Folgenden sind eine Reihe von Pathogenen aufgeführt, für die BIOTECON Diagnostics geeignete foodproof^® DNA-Extraktions und real-time PCR Nachweis-Kits anbietet. foodproof^® Cronobacter Detection LyoKit

Neben dem foodproof Enterobacteriaceae plus Cronobacter Detection Kit bietet BIOTECON Diagnostics das foodproof Cronobacter Detection LyoKit zum Nachweis aller Spezies der Gattung Cronobacter an. Seit 2005 schreibt die Europäische Kommission in der Regulation (EC) 2073/2005 die Untersuchung pulverförmiger Säuglingsnahrung auf die pathogene Gattung Cronobacter vor. Häufig kontaminierte Lebensmittel sind pulverförmige Babynahrung (PIF) mit und ohne Probiotika, Magermilchpulver, milchbasierte Stärkungsmittel und Saccharose.
