foodproof^® StarPrep Three Kit

The StarPrep Three Kit is designed for quick and easy extraction of bacterial DNA from food enrichments by heat-induced lysis. This kit is a cost-effective bulk version, while the foodproof ShortPrep kits are pre-assembled in 96 ready-to-use tubes.

Principle

• Cells are lysed during incubation in the foodproof StarPrep Three Kit lysis buffer
• After centrifugation, the DNA is in the supernatant and ready to use

• Fast and flexible DNA extraction from enrichment samples.
• Successfully tested with food matrices, seafood and environmental samples including PPS.
